Boooo!!!

So as I posted, Memo was having his first pro fight on 7-27-09.

On the Saturday before, we got a phone call from Sifu Chris...he said that Memo's oppoante got hurt while he was trying to make weight!?!?!?!?

WTF!!!! Sooo not cool!!!

Memo was so upset and he dropped 5 lbs Saturday morning!!

Maybe it just wasn't his time to fight.

He is still training and is now trying to get to the 170 lbs weight class.

But for now...it's a big, fat...BOOOOOO!!!

I almost forgot...don't forget to look at WWW.TRIBULL.COM...there are new day time classes starting!!!

My cage fighter Memo

MEMO BECOMING A PRO FIGHTER!

I always thought the Mixed Martial Arts (better known as MMA) was cool and exciting. As a child my parents would take us to family and friends get together’s for pay per view boxing matches, I loved it. I would see my father get so excited about the fights that I became interested in it. We would be watching famous fighters brawling with their opponents till someone was knocked out or till the end of the last round and it people would pay top dollars to watch it!

Memo was a wrestler in high school and after high school he helped coach at his high school. I would sometimes go watch and I was amazed how well of a teacher he was and how talented he was in the sport. I am not too sure when he found Tribull MMA, but after a few months of training he told me he loved it. I know what MMA was from UFC, I wasn’t aware that he was training in that style of fighting.

One cold December evening I went with him to Tribull and watched a practice. I could not believe how intense and hard core the training was. I thought he was going to hurt himself!!! Over the months I got use to him coming home, smelling with about 5 shirts drenched with sweat and the smelly equipment in his gym bag.

Memo has now been training with Tribull MMA for about 2 years now and he is great at it. He was entered into some armature fights and he did well. His next task is becoming a Pro MMA Fighter! Right now he is training almost everyday and is dieting to cut back on his weight. His skill level, endurance and flexibility is improving everyday and he is well on his way to become a professional pro fighter. Please look at the Tribull MMA website, www.TRIBULL.com for more information about the school and please look at the pictures I have posted from his past armature fights.
